Ridge venting provides the greatest amount of air flow or exchange between your roof and the outside air. This air exchange creates a temperature transition between your attic and outside, preventing condensation. A ridge vent is installed by cutting a gap along the length of your ridge and then enclosing it with a vented ridge cap designed to allow warm, moist air to flow out of your attic. Not all roof designs have a long enough ridge to benefit from a ridge vent. Contact our team to learn more about ridge venting.
